A NEW HOPE

It all started in 1977 when STAR WARS first hit the big screen. Back in the days when it wasn't
called A New Hope.
We witnessed Princess Leia trying to bring the plans of the Death Star to the rebels in order to
help destroy it. Leias Mission failed and she had to be rescued by Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Obi
Wan Kenobi and Chewbacca. While the Death Star Plans were safely stored inside R2-D2, C-3P0's
counterpart. We were treated to something nobody has ever seen before. STAR WARS captured
multiple generations in the decades to come.
As a kid of the 70th's we wanted to be like our heroes on the big screen. We fought lightsaber
battles and played with our action figures brought to the market through Kenner.
Kenner brought us action figures and starships in beautiful packaging that are still being made
available through Hasbro some 43 years later in the Vintage Collection
